for lindsay, if you can blog I can too!

Remember that one time James applied to dental school all across the country? and we thought we were going to move to far off places and see new horizons and be all alone in the world especially if we landed in Kansas or something? Well, as luck and fate would have it, the far off places ended up just being Riverton utah, and any new horizons we see just change with the seasons, but we still ended up all alone in the world. Instead of us packing our bags, our cousins and friends shipped off all over the country instead! a topsy turvy world in deed.  So, now that we have lost just about everyone (not all, luckily) we loved seeing whenever we wished I suppose I could blog a little so you don't forget us. And perhaps I'll make the blog interesting enough that you will still want to hang out with us when you come back into town. Or even better, invite us out for a visit and a view of your new horizon!

where to begin.... where to recap... what to say to sound interesting...

The big guy in red is usually fun, we ran into him at the ward party.  George asked for a Buzz Lightyear, THE BIG ONE. (I hope his christmas wish comes true.)

this is the first year in three years that we have hung ornaments on the bottom branches of our tree, mostly because george hung them all there. Sadly, I'm a grinchy mom and moved them all up a little higher, (guess we know where george's anal gene comes from)

I bought a nativity set for the boys and thought it would be fun to have them unwrap it. I told George there was a present to unwrap under the tree and his response was, "oh, it's my Buzz Lightyear, THE BIG ONE" (I hope that christmas wish comes true) nope. just baby jesus, the real gift of the season....

We beat the snow and saw the temple square lights before the cold set in.

We decided a family photo would only enhance the Christmas spirit,

it didn't.  But we still have one jolly little elf,

there is our december so far, hope the gazillion snow storms don't stop our faraway family from coming home for a visit!

well.......

my attempts at blogging have all ended in drafts about christmas with the publish button never being pushed.  seeing as how we are now closer to christmas 2013 then we are to christmas 2012 I think it's time to give into the reality my numerous attempted posts are never going to see the light of the computer screen.

so, what do people post about? I feel my  bragging/sharing/creating/desire of updating has left me. Not that my blog was ever any of these things to begin with. But seriously, what did I once find blog worthy that has now gone missing.

I still have a funny kid named George,

and I'm pregnant which is a fact that is always obvious and unforgettable

james is still in dental school, doing gross things if you ask me

and summer has begun and we have had some moments of "fun in the sun"

and the rain

the harman's still dance

and we take trips to the zoo

but yet my poor blog never gets updated with anything new.
